A RARE .65 WILLIAM IV FLINTLOCK TROOPER'S PISTOL, CIRCA 1830, no visible serial number,
9in. barrel fitted with a swivel rammer hinged at muzzle, borderline engraved lock marked 'ENFIELD' on the tail and bearing the Crown 'W.R.' cypher to the centre, raised semi-waterproof pan and fitted with a ring-neck cock, regulation brass mounted full walnut stock the grip stamped with the broad arrow, 'B.O.' storekeepers mark, the brass mounts include a simple domed butt-cap, trigger-guard, sideplate, rammer pipe and nose-cap, top jaw and screw replaced

Provenance: William 4th reigned 1830-1837, arms bearing his cypher are exceptionally rare
